TIPS ON HOW TO LOCATE YOUR CAR!
The Hollywood & Highland Parking Garage is a very large parking facility spread out over 5 levels. It is important to make careful note of exactly where you parked.
There are THREE items it is recommended to note.
- The number of your parking level: P2, P3, P4, P5, P6
- The "letter" of the garage section you parked in: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H
- The individual parking space number (on the floor) where you parked.
You will find it easiest if you can park near the central hub
where all the elevators and escalators are housed
When you are returning to your car you will arrive at your parking level (by escalator or elevator) in the central elevator & escalator hub. (Identical on each floor.) There are three exits from the hub. And the exits all look identical! Making it hard to determine which exit you take to find your car!
So when you park your car and go into the central hub to get the elevator or escalator - have a good look around so that you will easily recognize which hub door to go through to get back to the correct part of the garage when you return.
COMPREHENSIVE DIRECTIONS TO THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE
- After you park your car - note the floor level (P2 - P6) the garage section (A - G) and the parking space number marked on the floor.
- Make your way to the central elevator & escalator hub. Take elevator or escalator up to Level 1. Then look for the signs directing you to "Hollywood Boulevard." You need to get on to the street itself.
- When you emerge on to Hollywood Boulevard you will be on the NORTH side of the street facing the El Capitan Theater. Turn LEFT and walk 50 yards (45 meters) to the traffic signal at the intersection with Highland Avenue.
- At the traffic signal turn to your right and walk across HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD to be on the SOUTH side of Hollywood Blvd. Then turn immediately to your LEFT at the traffic signal to walk across HIGHLAND AVENUE. You are walking towards "Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum" and the McDonalds sign.
- Continue walking straight along Hollywood Boulevard - past McDonalds and the Scientology building. Cross over McCadden Place and you will see the Pig 'n' Whistle restaurant & pub. The Egyptian Theatre is right next to the Pig 'n' Whistle - with a giant vertical sign that reads "Egyptian" Turn right into the courtyard. The box office is to the left of the theatre doors.
